It's a dive. It's exactly what you expect out of a dive. It's a very mediocre dive. Don't get me wrong, the people are nice enough and the food/drinks are fine...there's just nothing special about it. A lot of dives have that one thing that makes it special to go to. A good price, the good dart board, a wall to carve your name into, etc. This spot just feels like a place that forgot to close when the surrounding area got built up and developed (...which I mean in a nice way).It's a great blue collar Bud drinking, Jack guzzling, dive bar.

There is an old time ambience here that deserves your stay!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The waitress here has an absolutely terrible attitude! The food we ordered was bad so we asked to send it back and she fought with us about it saying our opinion on the food was "weird". I then later overheard her complaining loudly in the back to the other employees how bad we were and how she ate the food and "thought it was fine". When we tried to talk to her about this, she said she had every right to talk about us as bad as she wants and she will do so and demanded we leave or she would call the cops. When asked why she treated us terribly, she said we didn't tip last time, which we didn't because she had attitude. She then proceeded to yell at us when we wanted to speak to the owner telling us the owner would never believe us over her. For your own sake, AVOID THIS PLACE!

This place has potential to be better than it is currently. The ribs could be great and the same with the burgers. They both need a tune up. It's basically cooking technique. Good quality meat and a decent price. SEAR your burgers on an open flame grill. Grill the ribs on an open flame grill after the basic long cooking process and "grill on the sauce". Both products would take on a whole new dimension. The old place is a bit tacky but down to earth people could overlook that. The wait staff needs a tune up also. Much better eating experience in the bar The burger is quite large and juicy. It just needs another dimension of flavor. Again, reasonable prices.

This was my second time here. Both times were great. My first visit was for brunch on Mothers day before hitting up the swap meet down the street with mom-in-law. Great breakfast sando. Simple and well done. Second time we missed breakfast by 10 minutes so I had to settle for lunch. Glad I did. Perfectly grilled chicken sando! Chicken tasted fresh, not frozen. Nice soft bun, perfect fresh veggies (lettuce /tomato)It was the sandwich I didnt know I needed to get through a rough morning. Hair of the dog bloody mary went perfectly. Great place, I'm sure I'll be back again. Mumsy loves it. Oh yeah, staff was top tier both times. Locals in there , so dont make a scene.

Me and my friend found this charming place in munda line called the Gilmer road house the food was really good they had a nice porch they had the best onion soup it was so good we can't wait to go back there the owner was very nice the waitress was awesome it was wonderful I'm so glad we went there and you will be happy to

Best pizza in Lake County. Maggie is the best.

This is a real Roadhouse, more Bar than Restaurant. With it comes the usual bar crowd that keeps the place in business on the typical weekday evening. The restaurant side is rarely busy on those evenings, and the food is quite good if a bit pricey for the atmosphere (Burgers about $10). The upside is that the beer can be cheap if you choose from the specials of the day.

Nice out of the way place. Had breakfast. Not great, not horrible.

Stopped for lunch & ordered the pulled pork lunch special & a pan pizza. The pork was the driest meat ever experienced. Not good. The pan pizza was tasty, but the pan bottom was flaking steel from age. Fortunately none came off on my pizza but everyone may not be as lucky as me! Beware.

Cool little joint. Cozy bar. Decent foods. Friendly service. Smoking deck out back. Grew up on dive bars in Minnesota and I'm very comfortable there. Bar separate from dining room so good for all members of the family or nay crowd.

Awesome service amazing food, I highly recommend the chicken marsala or the blackened walleye but anything you get here is awesome. They have a gaming room too if you decide to try your luck and a nice porch area.

It's a family run hole-in-the-wall with the best ribs and fried chicken. Not fancy. Everyone knows everyone.

A longtime local watering hole that has the expected atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Family run its a solid 5 star for me. Highly recommended.

Tasty chicken caesar wrap special today. Inteeior of building seems a bit updated from my last visit, but still could use some additional updating of both interior and exterior. Decent beer specials and very friendly bartender

Worst service in my entire life. No lie. And the slot machines are not any better. The food has always been very good and consistent; that is, if you have the good fortune to get any.

I love the restaurant, but all of the gambling machines are ruining the vibe of the place.

The bbq beef on a garlic roll had no bbq sauce but plenty of salt. The sandwich was inedible. My wifes beer was half full and the waitress said it's because the keg was empty. Never going back.
